What's new in BASEC v0.20 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Added commands: ENVIRON$, SHELL Fixed problems: POINT now works properly More screens : Added SCREEN 11, and 14. Use these for SHOWJPG I've decided to update my BASEC compiler to support ENVIRON$ and SHELL. Why? Because you need these two to create CGI programs! Now you can write your own CGI programs in BASIC. So what's the benefits? Simple answer, save time and learning. Since BASEC supports most common BASIC commands, you can write commercial quality CGI programs in no time! Way easier than C, and much easier than Perl. I've added SCREEN 11 and SCREEN 14 (non BASIC standard), which is equivalent to SCREEN 12 and 13 respectively, but with 24-bit colours. You need 11, and 14 to use SHOWJPG. No more updates? I've said before I wouldn't update my compiler anymore, perhaps this is the final nail. I have no motivation to continue, however, that doesn't mean I won't start a new compiler :) Comments/Suggestions ------------------------------------------------------------------ Contact: William Yu Webpage: http://www.basicguru.com/abc/
