THE FREEDOS BETA 8 ("Nikita") DISTRIBUTION

Problems/updates with the official Beta8 may be found on the FreeDOS web
site at http://www.freedos.org/.  Please read the errata.  

Do you need to partition your hard drive before installing FreeDOS?
Don't forget to use the FDISK program to do this.  If you have created
any partitions, you'll need to use FORMAT to make the drive writable.
After formating, make your hard drive bootable by running:  SYS C:

To install the FreeDOS Beta 8 on your computer, choose the appropriate
options from the screens that follow and reboot as necessary.
